Winner of Ursula Moray Williams Centenary year Cup for Children's Writing






Congratulations to Mafoa Siale, Winner of the Ursula Moray Williams Cup for Children’s Writing!!!! Mafoa, from Bluestone School, was also winner of the Year 7-8 category for her story "Winter". UK judge Colin Davison awarded the prize to Mafoa's story "for its wonderful use of language, that reminded me of the power of folk legends".

Many thanks to Colin Davison, The Friends of the Library and Aoraki Reading Association South Canterbury for their support for this competition.
